composite index

i d like share with you constantine brown s composite index

the formula for metastock is

RSI(14)-Ref(RSI(14),-9)+Mov(RSI(3),3,S)

if someone programmer could make it for mt4 i ll be glad

the index works perfectly mainly in month charts

if composite index diverge with prices and rsi not then this is a very strong signal according to Mrs Brown

i dont know how could i upload some examples

last strong signal was in eurusd pair

I've also heard amazing things about Constance Brown's Composite Index and on shorter time frames as well. I read she had only revealed the formula to a limited number of high paying clients. If this is the real CI formula it would definitely be worth translating to MQL4 and testing it out on Metatrader.

tb36670, for those with MQL4 skills but no idea about metastock language, could you please write down the formula in words (especially, what does Ref(RSI(14),-9) and Mov(RSI(3),3,S) mean?).

it is the real formula

it has been published from her in the book "breakthroughs in technical analysis"

the formula was protected by copyright by the Library of Congress but the time has come to release the formula because it has unique properties that traders value

the Composite index takes the normalized formula of RSI and removes the normalization range restrictions

i dont know what the formula mean in metastock language but i think a programmer could find it

Can anyone please upload Constance Brown's book Technical Analysis for the Trading Professional, Second Edition please? I hear her take on Fibs, Gann, RSI, Elliot Waves etc is very unorthodox and her practical strategies are very effective. Have tried to find a free copy of her book online, but no success.Thank you!:)

Yes there is an NT7 CompIndex indicator but if I upload it here into an open forum, we are bound to hear from Andrew Cardwell, who is a stickler for DMCA and copyrights law.

I would also have to write a sizeable disclaimer regarding liability, so to leave our forum out of the crosshairs, I think it would be better to just give the link to the indicator itself.
