I agree with Msdogan. There are comments being made about the mt4stats results being "doctored" on another forum.

These guys are running a test and results are not very good on GBPUSD, despite a seemingly impressive backtest on the fxzapper website:

The EA seems to have been running ok on EURUSD recently - though it does have 10 pip targets and 70 pip stops, which will make it prone to big dips in equity when it hits losses (particularly losses in a row).

If you have two losses in a row, you'd have to have another 14 winners until you got back to where you started from before you had the losses.

It looks very good.... I would like to try it.....

Happens to see the forward test results (with login to the broker's account) at Donnaforex's site. Looks good. Someone also claims the backtest results are similar to the published results on the web. Any kind soul willing to share a copy of this ea?

It is necessary. Version with .DLL will work for 60 days or so. Then it will stop working. Unplugged Version is necessary thereafter...

But how do you explain that I've made backtest for the last 5 years ?

Simply because we're not in the future. If the date would've been 18.06.2010, it wouldn't have worked at all. Feel free to use which version you want, but keep in mind that the one with the DLL will expire on that date.

@birt : there is no need to unplugged, the original version works :)

getting rid of a dll is always preferable. it removes a part of the code (calling the dll) speeding up the EA + it also reduces the risk of it crashing for unknown reasons.

May I remind you guys to do a small alteration yourself to help "protect" the EAs identity (Dealing Desk Brokers):

string gs_76 = "FxZapperv1.2 EA";

the first line after the introducing lines.

Please insert a "extern" to have the line look like this:

extern string gs_76 = "FxZapperv1.2 EA";

Now you can change the name in the settings (not the one which appears in the corner left above), which will then appear in the comment line. Thx.

Sharing is one thing but stealing from a good man like Funyoo who works hard, get paid little for his efforts is a crime in my book.

I have contacted Funyoo on this and hope he does not get discouraged as he has helped many over the past years.
