Logical Information Machines is excellent for testing futures trading strategies, but it is weaker for equities strategies, based on my experience 10 years ago. Alphacet Discovery is a new product that integrates data retrieval, backtesting, optimization with machine learning algorithms, and automated execution. It is quite powerful for backtesting and trading a range of markets including futures, equities, and currencies. Example 7.1 is a backtest example using the Discovery platform.
