[uPDATED] Attention CQG users

by Henry MultiСharts » 08 Aug 2018

Dear users,

CQG is conducting an upgrade to their infrastructure on August 25th.

In order to continue receiving CQG data you need to update MultiCharts to version 12.0 Release before this date

It seems that only the last official release have the correct API which will work with CQG data, NOT the previous beta and LicEMU works only with the first MC12 beta ( MultiCharts64.Test.12.0.15952.700_x64 )

The problem for CQG users will remain and it has been solved only with the LAST MC 12 release, otherwise they would not have created a warning message for CGQ users

I did a research, and it seems that anything else before the last update of 8th August Is useless for CQG. So we are in the dark till someone educate it.

Okay, here is a thing. Do not update Multicharts to its latest version 12 (8th Aug2018), Licemu will not work and you will get the error message related to digital rights management. If you have already updated to the latest version then don't worry, I also did that and then realized that it has something to do with latest CQG update which requires some different server settings from MC end. Just install MUlticharts version 12 Beta1 (no need to uninstall the latest version) and all will work just fine. You can see gree square at the bottom right.

From what I understood, if you don't use the latest update, your orders want be able to be routed. They are changing something with the symbol format date adding some more digits. With that in mind, I think that Ninjatrader is gonna have a heat as well.

Hello guys im trying to run Multicharts64 Test Version 12.0 (build 15952) but i have a problem with cqg data feed free from amp which doesnt work on my MC.

How can i solve this? Do you know any other datafeed for free?

From my side is better leave MC Platform…..after all, any indicator or strategy can be converted into NT7 or NT8 ….also the things that came after the pentagram...I hope it is understood :-)

hi guys, I am using MC Version: MultiCharts64 Version 11.0 Release (Build 14734), which I think is the last stable version working with LicEmu.

I have seen that Oanda has canged API, so now MC is not able to get the daily data. MC forum says that the minimum version to get this working again is the 14941.

Anyone has experience if that version works with LicEmu?

thanks

MultiCharts 11.0 Release 2 builds 14941/14943 is out now!

You can check the change log in our blog.

Go to download page

This build is critical for OANDA users - it has modified algorithm of requesting historical daily bars. OANDA did some changes on their end effective today on Demo, in a week on Live. Make sure you update to this new version in order to be able to receive historical daily data.

Hi eros1973ms,

In this moment I work with MC 12 Test Build 15952, and work fine with old LicEmu. Also, all versions of MC11 run well with the old LicEmu.

In MC12 Test Build 15952, Oanda work fine, but I set my account in Rest v1. I don't know if Oanda work fine in MC11 in last weeks.

hello will you provide a link please for the rest of us for old emu that works

TIA

you can easily upload to a myriad of sites some easy ones are sendspace, mediafire, anonfiles, etc

I really dont know what to do could you help me pls???

'Download missing historical data' is already flagged.

whitout some gimmiks webank feed is utter rubbish, data is completely wrong /sminchia tutte le candele

cqg changed their api, only new MC version can be filled now
