cubirey not the candle pattern,

i have like that, but indicator what i mean is indicator which can expose/scan what chart pattern is showing now

like double top, head&shoulders etc

may be you have one or if you don't mind please make the indi for us hi...

Hi sustainblegrowth,

DT and DB could be detected easily without using any indicator.

The DT(M shape) or DB(W shape) basically has 3 various formations,

say DT/M,

1) Lazy M - the lastest swing high is lower than previous swing high

2) Regular M - Both latest and previous swing high are Equal height

3) False Break/Fakey M - the latest swing high is higher than previous swing high

I apply this technique from TF15 and above, higher TF the higher propability or pips gain.

It is best if one could apply the knowledge of regular and hidden divergence techniques together with this DT/DB formation as

1) Lazy M - normally found in trend continuation, trend continuation could be confirmed by hidden divergence.

2) Regular / Fakey M - normally found in trend change and can be confirmed by regular divergence.

Attached chart showing the false break of "W", the false break could be detected or predictable earlier by using any oscillator indicator, for example stochastic, rsi, macd etc...
