EURUSD M5 shows pretty decent backtest on another site.

Martingale logic though so it's just a matter of time....

The version 5.0 of indrafxscalper is not a martingale and much safer, you trade only uscad M15 during 22h-02h00 GMT, MM, risk ....

I use this version in my live account (instatrader) and i have decent results

The version V5.0 has DLL file. So, is it possible to use on live account and demo account to forward-test?

Please give your ideas on comparison between backtesting results and your forward-live testing results. Are they similar ?

Can any genius here can crack and remove all restrictions of DLL files from the Version V5.0 posted by Didier?

Backtesting seems good, and also, the trading hour, and optimized setting of Didier is good.

The only issue is how to find a good, reliable broker that can offer 2 pip spread on USDCAD as per maxspread on the Input. Any suggestion on such brokers?

Hi,

You can set maxspread at 4, no problem.

I use instaforex live (spread 3) so you have a large choice

to choose another broker.

I just changed original SL (31) and risk (300)

by SL 20 and risk 100 (because of instaforex 0.10 lots= 0.01 lots)

The rest are default.

I don't know if they are optimized or not, you have to test by yourself :)

Yes, I highly appreciate if any genius here can make this EA work on ECN and 4-digit/5-digit brokers automatically.

Reason is simple: ECN brokers often offer lower and fixed spread on many majors than normal bucket shop brokers. So, this calper ea can become profitable then.

The default settings for trading hour is from 23:00 (open hour) to 1:00 (close hour). So, you re-set to 22:00 to 2:00, is it right? Please re-confirm on this important matter. Thanks.

By the way, what are the functions of "Closeby = True" and "Closepip = 3" ? Please kindly explain.

+ Does this EA work on both 4-digit and 5-digit brokers automatically, or do we have to add another "0" at the Take Profit, Stop loss, etc?

The final request: Please, any genius, re-code the above clean version V5.0 so that it can work on ECN brokers.

Here I come to save the day!!! (Well, maybe not. It depends on if the EA is worth the magnetic charge that's holding it to the harddrive disc). This version works with 4/5 digit (do not add 0 please), ECN friendly, etc. I believe Closeby will close the trade when it has Closepip# of pips in profit.

I attached it onto M5, USDCAD of IBFX USA.

I noticed on the Expert near Journal and saw it said "Zero divide" and "Uninit reason 5".

What are these errors? Can you double-check it and fix these errors?

I checked the code, and the only dividing is from the untouched original code (mainly the lot calculation and pending order expiration), but I'll check it some more.

Edit: I've used the same code from my other EA's for the mod, and I don't see any problems there. Did you set the Auto_GMT_Offset to True? It seems that this function has been educated to the point of not working. I think before it was using the DLL file. I suggest setting it to False.

Edit: My BT optimizing finally finished, so I could shut the platform down to load this EA. I attached it and had no errors, but it's the weekend too... Anyway, in case something changed when I checked the code (I don't remember if I fixed some small things) ...

Again, I still found the error "zero divide" on IBFX platform no matter if I set GMT Offset = True or false.

On the screen of Usdcad chart, I notice it said "Waiting quotes.....", and it stood still like this all the time.

Could you please have a careful look at the inside code, and try to fix this error, and test it on IBFX platform, you will know what I explain.

I fixed a small spread calc error in the code. Try this one. I just attached it to the IBFX platform and did not get an error. It must be something with yours I think. "Waiting quotes" will stay until the next tick comes in.

this night was not good (3 SL)

the TP 3 (close by) is too small to recover the losses (my SL is 20)

or i will change the value "close by" 3 to 10.
