However, this is a much earlier version. I hope someone can do this to the most recent version after cracking both Amibroker and AmiQuote. Portable AmiBroker 5.20 Pro http://[email protected]/?ztzwcjnemny Edit: Apparently, this guy's method of making the program portable is to run in a sandbox. This isolates it from the main operating system (OS) and prevents entries into Window's registry. This is clever. I sometimes use a virtual OS, like Virtualbox. What he does might be done in a virtual OS like Sandboxie. This way the user can avoid the error after accident usase of an unlicensed AmiQuote - Amibroker "LICENSE ERROR". I recommend that traders in this forum using programs that they download first test their downloads in Virtualbox, before installing them into their main operating systems. Virtualbox is free from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads and you can run a 64 bit OS on a 32 bit system or vice versa as long as you have the proper CPU in your motherboard for 64 bit. Bill Bundle Posted June 6, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 6, 2012 I should also let you guys know that the version of AmiQuote in this portable version is cracked and you can set it to update current day prices from Yahoo to 1 minute intervals which is the smallest time frame that Yahoo provides. Then you do have Yahoo RT data for FREE!!! Remember that the company symbols that you put in your watchlists have to have Yahoo's suffixes for the country where the stock exchange that trades the stock resides. I guess that AmiQuote hasn't been cracked, because that's the message it gives once you use it. Since its portable, it shouldn't have affected the Window's registry and can be deleted easily. Unzip another copy and try using it again or if you wish, purchase it. There are several other versions posted in this forum that you can use too; however, they are not portable. As long as you don't run AmiQuote, this portable version or any of the other versions posted in this forum should continue to work. In fact, you might consider just deleting the folder where the AmiQuote program resides as an extra measure of precaution.
